Renting Bosch NG Interpreter Consoles

Bosch DCN-IDESK is a single-user ergonomic interpreter console with a modern design. It fully complies with all international standards for simultaneous interpreting equipment.

The control keys of this interpreting console are located in a convenient way, ensuring ease of use and preventing possible errors.

The DCN-IDESK interpreter console is resistant to mobile phone interference.

It is equipped with a graphic LCD information display.

The interpreters can choose to listen to the venue hall on their the headphones or to a translation from another booth.

The console has five keys for relay languages with activation indication on the display.

Interpreters can work in one or two outgoing channels (A and B). The status of the selected outgoing channel is shown on the information display.

Information on all channel numbers and languages is also available.

Both the microphone activation button and the microphone itself are equipped with a light indicator which comes on when the microphone is activated, thus providing extra protection against the possible error of forgetting to turn it on.

For the convenience of the interpreter, the unit has a built-in loudspeaker, making it convenient to follow the event even when interpreting is not needed and when the interpreter has removed his/her headset.

The graphic display is also equipped with a timer that counts time from the moment the microphone is turned on until it is switched off, making it easier for interpreters working in shifts to control their working time.

The mute key provides both a convenient way to temporarily mute outgoing sound and to adjust the incoming sound level and timbre on the headphones as well as the volume of the built-in speaker, ensuring comfortable listening.

The microphones of these interpreter consoles are interchangeable.

Bosch offers a choice of the DCN-MICS and DCN-MICL models, which differ in microphone stem length.

The console can be used with the Bosch interpreter headset, a headset microphone and headphone combination, or with any other headphones with a standard 6.3 mm or 3.5 mm stereo jack connector, which is very convenient if an interpreter wants to work with his/her personal headset.

At large-scale events where Bosch accessories are used, it is possible to give the speaker a "slow" signal from the interpreter console or to use the "help" button in order to call a conference technician, if necessary.
