Bosch have developed the unique Packet Loss Concealment technology to compensate for lost data packets. It automatically detects which data transmission packets are damaged or lost and fills in the signal gap, providing a continuous audio signal for the users of the device. Three types of microphones can be connected to the DICENTIS WL microphone unit. Specifically for this system, Bosch have designed an innovative and discrete high-directionality microphone. The microphone capsules are cleverly built into the short microphone body, providing for an attractive design that makes the conference room more elegant. If you prefer a more classic look, two lengths of traditional microphones with a flexible stem are available. All of the microphones are equipped with two-colour LED indicators that are helpful to the discussion managers and to the system operator. The microphones are also protected against any interference from mobile phones and other GSM devices.
A smart control battery is located at the bottom of the microphone unit. When fully charged the battery lasts for up to 24 hours. The power status of the battery is indicated with the LED lights on the battery casing, thus facilitating system monitoring.
