Induction Loops for the Hearing-Impaired

Several companies, including Bosch and Listen, are working to make life easier for people with hearing problems, and KT Serviss brings their latest technologies to you. They include induction systems that operate on the basis of the induction field principle.

The range includes stationary, narrow-band, and portable hearing aids.

As is well known, hearing aid users have certain difficulties perceiving sound, be it music, speech, or some other type. When in public spaces, it is important for people with hearing disabilities to hear what is going on around them. This can be achieved with the help of an induction system, which sends a signal via the built-in induction coil of the hearing aid. By switching listening modes in the hearing aid, the user can block the ambient noise and amplify the sounds received from the induction system.

The induction system amplifier is connected to the output of an audio device and converts the audio signal into an electrical current. The hearing aid coil receives the magnetic field generated by the induction system and converts it back into a sound signal.

Both Bosch and Listen offer a wide range of relatively easy-to-use induction systems which can be used in public or at home.
